About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Sales and Product Manager to join our CASE/AMA team in Runcorn. This is a full-time role with hybrid working arrangements, offering the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible for assuming full ownership of specific product portfolios for key suppliers, driving profitability and ensuring that Principal expectations are met. Additionally, they will promote the company and develop sales of the CASE product range for a limited number of defined customers, achieving agreed business targets and meeting customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key Principals to ensure Principal expectations are met and the CASE strategy is aligned with Principal goals.
  • Liaise with suppliers on product offerings, promotional approaches, reports, and feedback, supporting other team members as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication with Principals, adhering to agreed reporting and meeting frequencies, and documenting all meetings in the CRM system.
  • Create and communicate development plans to optimize objectives, sales retention, and growth targets.
  • Design and specify marketing and sales activities to meet plan, including presentations, sales sheets, PBMs, and editorials.
  • Organize sales and technical team member training and refresher training on assigned Principals' ranges, ensuring the sales team is fully aware of new materials from assigned Principals.
  • Calculate costings and set general pricing levels for materials from assigned Principals.
  • Agree budgets with Principals annually and monitor performance against budget, taking corrective action if necessary.
  • Prepare arguments for the commercialization of products to improve sales force impact and generate new projects.
  • Monitor, report, and act on market and competitor activities to ensure product strategies reflect current market activity.
  • Manage and develop a defined customer base, generating sales and margins through maintaining existing business and targeting new opportunities.
  • Seek out, analyze, and develop new accounts, promoting sales of the product portfolio in line with business growth strategies.
  • Achieve annual sales budgets with Business/Commercial Managers.
  • Ensure best-in-class customer engagement through optimal CRM system usage and integration of IT systems.
  • Translate the company's Sustainability Strategy into concrete job-related actions and contribute actively to its implementation.
Requirements
  • Clear commercial awareness, combining analytical expertise with accurate data manipulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels internally and externally.
  • Ability to understand the product range technically to promote products internally and externally.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business financial measures, demonstrating how activities influence debtors, creditors, stock management, and cash flow.
