Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Ingfield Manor School, a non-maintained special school that provides a safe and stimulating environment for children and young people with neurological motor impairment. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the planning and delivery of a strategy promoting function and independence in students, enabling them to access the whole curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement postural management and specialist equipment programs to support students' physical and communication skills.
Collaborate with the trans-disciplinary team to ensure the integration of the school's strategy for promoting function and independence.
Conduct timely and effective risk assessments, physical and postural management programs, and ensure their day-to-day implementation.
Organize equipment clinics to ensure timely postural management reviews and regular maintenance and servicing of postural and moving and handling equipment.
Deliver relevant training to school staff and take a key role in the assessment and implementation of seating and mobility equipment solutions.
Support in the assessing and planning of access routes to technology and lead group programs such as therapeutic movement in water.
Contribute at Reviews and other relevant meetings and liaise with parents/guardians and external medical services where necessary.
Ensure the physical environment is maintained to high standards of safety, hygiene, and presentation.
Share professional knowledge and participate in the staff training and development program.
Be proactive in own Continuing Professional Development and keep abreast with the latest evidenced-based practice and changes to legislations relating to practice.
