Certikin is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, including picking and packing items, liaising with customers at the Tradedesk, and supporting the Transport Team Leader and Dispatch Supervisor.

The job includes:

  • Using barcode scanners and pick lists to assemble customer orders to deadlines
  • Packaging customer orders appropriately for the method of delivery
  • Highlighting issues with stock when picking orders to help maintain optimum stock levels
  • Ensuring all areas of the warehouse and yards are kept tidy and free of debris
  • Warehouse stock movements including put away and replenishment of pickfaces
  • Operating the Trade desk as directed by the Dispatch Supervisor
  • Offering an efficient and friendly service to all trade customers
  • Assisting in the loading and unloading of vehicles as directed by the Transport Team Leader
  • Ensuring the appropriate paperwork is completed
  • Using mechanical handling equipment such as PPT pallet trucks and fork lift trucks within Health and Safety guidelines

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Accurate with attention to detail
  • A flexible team player with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to recognise and deliver good customer service when dealing with customers collecting or returning products at the Trade Desk

The salary for this role is £24,720 with working hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-4.30pm on Fridays.
