Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Stores Person to join our team at Oxford Instruments NanoScience. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and materials to our internal customers.

Our company offers a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days' annual leave, private medical insurance, and a group pension plan.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory, ensuring accurate stock records and timely delivery of goods to our manufacturing teams. Your duties will include:

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries
  • Updating the business system for accuracy and kit picking for our manufacturing teams
  • Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom environment

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, inventory control, and customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in warehouse work, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems

A FLT licence would be an advantage, but full training will be provided if required.
