As a Children in Need Social Worker with Ackerman Pierce Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families. Your primary responsibilities will include investigating and assessing referrals to the service, preparing reports, and working closely with Public Law Outline (PLO) protocols. You will also be responsible for attending child protection meetings, case conferences, and Looked After Children (LAC) reviews. Furthermore, you will utilize Children in Need plans to develop direct working relationships with children and manage a caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
* Investigation and assessment of referrals to the service
* Report writing and preparation
* Working with PLO protocols
* Attending child protection meetings, case conferences, and LAC reviews
* Utilizing Children in Need plans to work directly with children

Requirements:
* Post-qualifying experience as a Children in Need Social Worker within the UK social care industry
* HCPC registration
* 1-2 years of post-qualifying experience within the UK social care industry
* Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance
* Eligibility to work in the UK

Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is £38,000 - £48,000, depending on experience.
