Job Overview:

The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team to promote and maintain high standards of care for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental conditions.

This involves contributing to diagnostic assessments by undertaking specific aspects of the assessment as required, providing support to families and young people through group-based workshops and interventions, and supporting staff teams and other professionals in a variety of community settings.

Main Duties:

The Central Neurodevelopmental Team covers Conwy and Denbighshire, offering comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment leading to the production of a personal profile, outlining strengths and needs, and diagnosis, if appropriate.

The service is striving towards providing a range of interventions through group work, workshops, and bespoke individual interventions.

Requirements:

  1. Registered professionals, ideally with a background in speech and language therapy.
  2. Registration with an appropriate body.
  3. Experience in working with people with neurodevelopmental conditions (ASD and/or ADHD).
  4. Preference given to those with experience in working with children and families.
