About the Role

The Specialist Practitioner/Training Facilitator will be responsible for fostering an environment that values education as part of the philosophy of the practice area. This includes supporting the recruitment and induction of Health Visiting staff, developing and delivering training programs, and coordinating nursing staff to undertake CPD activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of education strategies and programs
  • Collaborate with senior nurse leaders and the Head of Nursing for Practice Development & Education to identify and coordinate CPD activities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Health Visiting staff and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of a learning environment that promotes inter-professional learning opportunities for students
  • Work with Clinical/Operational Directors and 0-19/organisation teams to develop and facilitate improvements in educational and competency standards
Personal Qualities
  • Evidence of delivering high-quality awareness/training to staff groups
  • Ability to translate and integrate evidence-based research/guidelines into supporting the development of education
