**Key Responsibilities:**

* Establish a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to ensure their safety and engagement in learning
* Promote independence and personal development in pupils, maintaining high expectations of behaviour
* Contribute to providing high-quality educational activities and experiences, supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum
* Support the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the class
* Respond to the varying needs of the school, adapting to tasks to ensure smooth running
* Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being
* Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team
* Complete documentation for records of incidents, health, behaviour, etc. as necessary

**Requirements:**

* GCSE pass in Maths and English
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
* Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
* Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
* Commitment to the role, treating pupils as individuals, and being positive and creative in meeting their needs
