Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and passionate Registered Midwives to join our team on our maternity inpatient ward at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for confident and motivated midwives to work autonomously within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide compassionate and personalised care across our inpatient setting, making a real difference to experience and outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, safe midwifery care during the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods on the inpatient ward.
  • Work collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide evidence-based and holistic care to women and babies.
  • Participate in audit and service development/Quality Improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Degree or diploma in Midwifery.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
