About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team at Academics Ltd as a Child Welfare Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression into care, psychology, or teaching.

As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will work alongside teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure that equipment and facilities are safe for children to use. You will also be responsible for preparation of activities and tidying away after, while developing an understanding with a child to maintain an optimal learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A genuine desire to work with children with special education needs
  • A caring, compassionate, and resilient nature
  • A 'can-do' attitude but also being proactive rather than always waiting for direction
  • A DBS check (which we can support you with)
  • You must not be barred from working with children
  • You will have grades A*-C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
