Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) Job Description

VickerStock is pleased to be working alongside a leading multi-disciplinary design consultancy to recruit for the position of Civil Design Engineer to join their talented Civil Infrastructure team.

Due to a rapidly increasing pipeline of work, this role is to satisfy their upcoming variety of highly complex projects including public realm, environmental improvement schemes, blue/green infrastructure, MUGAs and greenways, play parks, and sport/leisure.

Your Role as a Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will become a valued member of an already established Infrastructure team.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for various elements of civil infrastructure schemes.

You will prepare design packages and civil drawings using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, PDS and Microsoft Office software.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture or related construction discipline.
  • Civil Design experience, preferably on Civil Infrastructure projects using the design packages noted above and ability to work effectively under pressure, to deadlines and as part of a team.
  • Experience in Public Realm / Greenways / Civil Infrastructure projects would be advantageous but not essential.
