Job Title: Personal Assistant - Community Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and flexible Personal Assistant to support an individual with Autism and learning difficulties in accessing their local community and forming new connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical and social assistance to enable the individual to maintain their independence in the community.
  • Accompany the individual on trips to shops, swimming, and other activities, promoting social interaction and connection.
  • Support the individual in developing their skills and confidence in accessing the community.
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional short notice, to accommodate the individual's needs.

Requirements:

  • Reliability and flexibility to work variable hours.
  • Ability to work with individuals with Autism and learning difficulties.
  • Desirable: driving licence, but not essential.
