Marine Engineer Opportunity

Marine Resources is excited to represent a renowned superyacht tender company on the South Coast, known for their exceptional standards.

We are seeking experienced Marine Engineers to join their team as part of their ongoing development plan.

The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with a strong understanding of new-build marine engineering, including mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment on new build projects
  • Plumbing of systems, running and terminating of electrical looms, and installation of electronics
  • Commissioning of completed vessels, including CANbus control systems and NMEA networks
  • Problem solving and fault diagnosis
  • Leading projects, planning work, and checking information and stock
Requirements:
  • Experience in new build marine engineering, both mechanical and electrical
  • Proof of marine engineering qualifications a benefit
  • Experience of electronic injection marine diesel engines and drive installs
  • Experience of CANbus distribution systems and marine navigation equipment
  • Ability to work independently, plan own work, and check stock and information
  • Ability to follow instruction and work in a safe and productive manner
