About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil and Structural Engineering professional to join our team at Hydrock. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering sustainable projects that shape the built environment and improve the quality of life for our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop technical skills through complex project work and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prepare reports, provide advice, and guidance to clients and project teams.
  • Manage workload to meet project deadlines and contribute to project team meetings.
  • Attend site inspections and walkovers to ensure project quality.
  • Develop commercial awareness by assisting with proposal preparation and tendering for new work.
Requirements
  • Sustainable urban drainage, biodiversity net gain, flood risk, and nutrient neutrality knowledge or interest.
  • Digital engineering skills, including coding experience related to design automation or digitisation improvements.
  • Fluency in additional languages, including English.
  • Relevant industry experience, either undergraduate or postgraduate.
  • Proficiency in software tools, such as AutoCAD, WinDES, PDS, Civil 3D, and Infodrainage.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Student or Graduate Membership with the ICE and/or IStructE.
