Job Title: Collaborative Platform Administrator

At Babcock International Group, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Collaborative Platform Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting our collaborative portal services.

The Role

  • Provide support, implementation, and continuous reviews across our collaborative portal services.
  • Work with some of Babcock's most exciting customers, supporting the deployments of IT Portals Online across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter Sites and the Data contained within.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and other working practices.
  • Provide updates and recommendations to the SharePoint Lead and support implementation of any improvement actions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for further use of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter within the business, championing its use and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, Oracle WebCenter and other collaborative portal services.

Requirements

  • Experience of software configuration, configuring sites, document libraries, lists, site structures and permissions.
  • Some exposure to scripting languages.
  • Ability to operate within a hybrid working team, build relationships across the organisation and be self-managed to deliver outcomes.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and develop a career within an IT Based environment.
