Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Collaborative Platform Administrator to join our team at the Babcock Technology Centre site. As a Collaborative Platform Administrator, you will provide support, implementation, and continuous reviews across our collaborative portal services.

The Role:

As a Collaborative Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for working with some of Babcock's most exciting customers, supporting the deployments of IT Portals Online across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting in the administration of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter Sites and the data contained within.
  2. Adhering to policies, procedures, and other working practices.
  3. Providing updates and recommendations to the SharePoint Lead and supporting the implementation of any improvement actions.
  4. Proactively identifying opportunities for further use of SharePoint and Oracle WebCenter within the business, championing its use and capabilities.
  5. Developing and maintaining an excellent working knowledge of SharePoint, Oracle WebCenter, and other collaborative portal services.

This role is full-time, 35 hours per week, and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential Experience:

The successful candidate will have experience of software configuration, configuring sites, document libraries, lists, site structures, and permissions. Some exposure to scripting languages is also required. Additionally, the candidate must be able to operate within a hybrid working team, build relationships across the organisation, and be self-managed to deliver outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines are also essential.

Security Clearance:
