Job Description
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diesel Equipment Service and Maintenance Technician to join a well-established company in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch service and maintenance to diesel equipment, ensuring seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diesel engine maintenance, pump, and generator repair and maintenance. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Servicing equipment on customer sites
  • Responding to call-outs and providing emergency repairs
  • Working closely with the Hire Controller, Driver, and Fitters to ensure efficient hire processes
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication checks
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults, making any necessary adjustments or modifications

Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess:
  • Proven experience in diesel engine maintenance, with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with pump and generator repair and maintenance techniques
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a mechanical related discipline
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of £34,000 - £36,000 per annum, inclusive of call-out pay. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 33 days' holiday, life insurance, and pension.
