">Job Role
">We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Electromechanical Equipment Technician. In this role, you will learn how to maintain, repair, service, and upgrade our customers' overhead gantry cranes.
">Key Accountabilities
">- ">
- You will learn about the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant equipment, including motors, switchgear, cables & conductors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, pipework, integrated electromechanical power, and control systems.">
- You will gain knowledge of relevant industry health and safety standards, regulations, and environmental and regulatory requirements.">
- You will develop skills in planned, unplanned and preventative maintenance and operational practices, processes and procedures covering a range of plant and equipment.">
- You will study relevant engineering, including electrical theories and principles relative to the role of an Electromechanical Equipment Technician.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:
">- ">
- A minimum of 5 National 5 grades (or equivalent) with a Grade 4/C or above in Maths, English, and a Science.">
- The ability to climb ladders and work at heights.">
- The ability to travel to a designated college in your area and live within commuting distance (30 miles) of the Branch location.">
- Basic IT skills.">
- Passed your driving test by the end of the first year of your apprenticeship.">

Salary Details
">Starting salary: £17,278.56 per annum.
