Job Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Electromechanical Equipment Technician. In this role, you will learn how to maintain, repair, service, and upgrade our customers' overhead gantry cranes.

Key Accountabilities

">
  • ">
  • You will learn about the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant equipment, including motors, switchgear, cables & conductors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, pipework, integrated electromechanical power, and control systems.">
  • You will gain knowledge of relevant industry health and safety standards, regulations, and environmental and regulatory requirements.">
  • You will develop skills in planned, unplanned and preventative maintenance and operational practices, processes and procedures covering a range of plant and equipment.">
  • You will study relevant engineering, including electrical theories and principles relative to the role of an Electromechanical Equipment Technician.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 5 National 5 grades (or equivalent) with a Grade 4/C or above in Maths, English, and a Science.">
  • The ability to climb ladders and work at heights.">
  • The ability to travel to a designated college in your area and live within commuting distance (30 miles) of the Branch location.">
  • Basic IT skills.">
  • Passed your driving test by the end of the first year of your apprenticeship.">

Salary Details

Starting salary: £17,278.56 per annum.
