Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work in a new mental health service dedicated to North East London, providing crisis response support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals in crisis and their families to provide support and guidance
  • Respond to urgent referrals and provide crisis support on a 24/7 basis
  • Support and supervise band 4 crisis response practitioners
  • Ensure safe and effective crisis support is delivered consistently
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, and develop crisis care plans
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or Social Work or Allied Health Professional
  • ENB 998 or equivalent
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Post-qualification experience in mental health crisis or equivalent
  • Previous experience working autonomously
  • Demonstrable experience of assessing and planning care
