Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work on behalf of lovely schools in Stevenage. This is a full-time position where you will be undertaking general TA duties such as setting up the classroom and work for the mornings, assisting with tasks that the class teacher needs support with, as well as working on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have varying additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confidently work on a 1:1 or small group basis
  • Experience providing support to children with a range of additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and challenging behavior when required
  • Create interactive activities to engage children and keep them interested
  • Monitor and provide feedback on learning and progress
  • Be passionate about making a difference in the social and academic development of children
