Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neurophysiology Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, including nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) services
- Report on EEG of all modalities
- Undertake physiologist-led nerve conduction clinics and other neurophysiological investigations as required
- Develop a subspecialist interest in advanced neuromuscular neurophysiology
- Contribute to the education and development of clinical physiologists in performing more advanced NCS
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of neurophysiology and diagnostic medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
