Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist for Pearson Whiffin - Manufacturing, Engineering & Technical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our precision engineering products. You will assist and support the quality team through the inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products, with a focus on consistent continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quality inspection and fault identification to support the introduction of new products.
• Investigate quality issues to implement new procedures.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated according to production schedule.
• Support quality engineers with new product introduction and continuous improvement activities during busy periods.
• Any other duties required.

Requirements:
• Experience working within a Quality related role within Engineering.
• Ideally some knowledge of precision engineering processes.
• The knowledge to interpret engineering drawings to confirm inaccuracies.
• Previous experience inspecting parts using measuring equipment, e.g. micrometres, calipers, gauges etc.
• Previously been involved in an audit.
• An energetic, positive approach to work with the desire to progress long term.
