We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
About the Role:- Provide individualized support to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Support individuals in developing life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
- Monitor and record individual progress, providing regular updates to the care team.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Desirable: driver with access to own vehicle.
- Competitive rates of pay, including holiday pay.
