Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance systems to optimize production efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform routine servicing to prevent downtime.
  • Lead initiatives to improve process stability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies to ensure timely maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
  • Collaborate with production staff to provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Install and commission new equipment to ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify and resolve complex problems to ensure long-term solutions.
  • Adhere to company safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship-trained with Mechanical/Electrical qualifications to HNC or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work.
