Job Title: HR Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team at News UK. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing first-line HR support and HR administration to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and assistance to employees, line managers, and HR Business Partners across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate HR records on SAP, including identifying and correcting errors.
  • Coordinate and process new starters and leavers within the company.
  • Process maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave cases.
  • Maintain accurate benefit information via the BenefitsHub platform.
  • Compile and update employee records, ensuring compliance with UK data protection legislation.
  • Log and monitor sickness and other types of absence.
  • Produce letters and draft contracts for contractual changes.
  • Compile redundancy calculation costs when required.
  • Answer Subject Access Requests.
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with payroll to answer payroll-related queries.

Requirements:

  • Previous HR administration experience.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of the business and seniority.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience with SAP is desired but not essential.
