The **Finance Controller** will play a pivotal role in establishing and developing our finance function. This hands-on position requires rolling up your sleeves to manage daily accounting operations, implement robust financial controls, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in high-growth SMEs or start-ups, with strong technical accounting skills and exceptional communication skills. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, general ledger, cost accounting and cash management.
  • Run the month end close process, including preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements (e.g. profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow).
  • Lead the budgeting process by working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and department heads to establish financial goals and then monitor performance.
