Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Plymouth. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes to meet quality standards
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Utilising lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement
  • Managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and product introductions
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Identifying and resolving any technical issues in the manufacturing processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and other external partners
  • Providing technical expertise to support production and process improvements
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is up to £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits and bonus.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience in a process engineering role
  • Proven track record of successfully optimising manufacturing processes
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
