Exciting Opportunity for a Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team at our headquarters in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our credit control service, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an efficient credit control service through effective communication and robust payment procedures.
  • Accurately post and allocate customer receipts to accounts, investigate and resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Proactively chase overdue invoices via telephone and email to ensure timely payment.
  • Perform credit checks and credit limit reviews for new and existing customers.
  • Oversee and manage our credit insurance limits and communication with the insurer.
The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and experience in credit control. You will be able to manage a varied and demanding workload, work well under pressure, and maintain strong relationships with customers.
