Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Integration: Integrate technology into all aspects of teaching and learning to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Staff Development: Provide professional development and support to teaching staff in the use of ICT.
  • Student Progress: Monitor and assess students' progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.
  • Learning Environment: Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in ICT or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching ICT, preferably within an SEN environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with a track record of successfully leading a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of ICT tools and software, with a passion for integrating technology into education.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
