Automotive Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our client's team, specializing in fleet and vehicle management solutions.
Job Summary:This is an exciting opportunity to support the Sales and Operations teams, working with vehicle CCTV, fleet management, telematics, vehicle connectivity, and passenger Wi-Fi systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electrical systems, with experience in testing and installation.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to customers' sites to perform installations of vehicle systems.
- Service and maintain vehicle CCTV, blind spot detection systems, lights, beacons, and other safety equipment for various commercial vehicles.
- Test and calibrate the equipment to ensure optimum performance.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety, continuously striving for improvement.
- Experience with 12VDC and 24VDC automotive electrical systems.
- Previous experience in automotive electrical testing and installation.
- Must have experience working with HGVs, LGVs, or vans, and a strong passion for working with vehicles.
- Basic IT skills for inputting data into a system.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
