Power System Design Lead
======================

We are seeking an experienced Power System Design Lead to join our team at Aeropeople Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing AC & DC power generation and distribution systems for our clients in the defence, security, and aerospace industries.

Responsibilities
---------------

* Design and develop AC & DC power generation and distribution systems, including sizing, protection, control, and specification of power supplies and converters
* Manage EMC qualification to DEF STAN 59-411 and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical circuit board layouts and upgrades
* Provide electrical engineering expertise to project teams and contribute to design reviews
* Generate design documentation and technical reports

Requirements
------------

* Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject
* Experience in one or more of the following areas: design proving, integration, and defect resolution; electrical circuit board design and upgrades; EMC qualification and Electrical Safety Standards
* Eligibility to apply for SC clearance and British passport
