About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Staff Nurse to join our well-established Community Nursing team at Trinity House, Ashford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to housebound patients in the Stour Primary Care Network area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in their own homes, working closely with local GPs, care homes, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct local clinics for patients requiring clinical skills, supporting them towards self-management.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve clinical skills and competencies, with support from local practice educators and extended training.
  • Manage a diverse range of clinical areas, including wound management, end-of-life care, medicines administration, and IV therapy.
  • Drive your own car and have a full, clean driving license, with access to mileage costs and the NHS car lease provision.

Person Specification

  • Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (1st Level Nurse/NMC)
  • Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
  • Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
  • Knowledge of up-to-date clinical practice
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to organize own work
  • Ability to cope with change
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to motivate and organize others to ensure best practice
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Valid driving license and access to a car for work purposes
