Energy Efficiency Specialist

Agility Eco is seeking a skilled Community Energy Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide telephone energy advice and solutions for community programmes and initiatives to end fuel poverty across England, Scotland, and Wales.
We are committed to helping people keep warm in colder months and reduce their energy bills. Our team members need to have the confidence, empathy, and understanding to talk effectively to vulnerable individuals, identify risks or home improvement needs, and suggest solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise on the most effective use of energy, relative to individual circumstances, via telephone.
- Use initiative to provide solutions to energy cost and usage challenges.
- Work effectively with internal departments to deliver our full range of Agility Eco services.
- Accurately document all engagement in line with company processes.
- Ensure the safe handling of customer-sensitive personal data in line with the company data protection policy.
- Decide on the most appropriate means of communication and accurately deliver information to customers and colleagues.
- Identify and follow company guidelines for safeguarding concerns.
- Update CRM software systems and MS Office systems.
- Recognise when to escalate queries and opportunities.
- Steer conversations and keep calls on track, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Undertake telephone assessment services to vulnerable individuals, providing support and general energy efficiency advice.
- Recognised qualifications such as DEA (Domestic Energy Assessor) or other energy efficiency qualifications.
- Previous experience or background in energy efficiency.
- Current expertise in traditional and renewable energy solutions.
- Confidence to advise on energy use via phone.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (ZOHO).
- Salary up to £28,500.
- 25 days annual leave.
