Job Title: Children and Family Worker, St Thomas Newcastle

St Thomas Newcastle is seeking a Children and Family Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a vision for reaching and discipling children and families, encouraging children to engage with the Church and supporting innovative mission and discipleship amongst children.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a vision for reaching and discipling children and families
  • Encourage children to engage with the Church
  • Support innovative mission and discipleship amongst children
  • Be a champion for children within the church staff team
Requirements:
  • Christian fully committed to the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit
  • Experience of working with children and families in a local church context
  • Desire to put the interests of children as a priority and help them grow and find faith
