About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Preston Leyland Hotel. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting.

You will work closely with our hotel staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service quality, ensuring a warm welcome to our guests and providing a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and cupboards to a high standard.
  • Return equipment to storerooms and keep these areas tidy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm welcome to our guests.
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the hotel, including public areas, corridors, and exterior spaces.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and understanding of the importance of attention to detail in housekeeping.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical fitness and ability to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with other departments.
