Job Summary: As a Learner Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in enrolling learners into training programs designed to enhance their skills and employment prospects. You will work closely with referral agencies and local employers to identify potential learners, assess their needs, and guide them towards suitable educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with referral agencies and local employers.
  • Facilitate the enrolment of prospective learners into appropriate programs of study and signpost them to relevant job opportunities.
  • Use Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG) instruments to assess and enrol learners.
  • Liaise with referral agencies to identify and recruit prospective learners.
  • Promote the program and develop strong links with local employers to create progression routes into employment.
  • Conduct marketing activities and presentations to promote the program to referral agencies.
  • Provide employability support and guidance to learners, helping them become job-ready.
  • Manage and plan caseloads effectively to ensure each learner receives a personalised positive experience.
  • Track and monitor learner recruitment, ensuring targets are met and maintaining accurate records for audit compliance.
  • Conduct safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all learners.

Requirements:

  • Experience in recruiting adults in Further Education using IAG.
  • Proven track record of developing strong working relationships with partners and achieving contractual targets.
  • Skilled in conducting skills assessments and action planning with learners.
  • Familiarity with government unemployment support programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, database management, and Word.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients and partners.
  • Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities and safeguarding practices.
