Job Title:

We are currently looking for a skilled SEN Reading and Literacy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with learners with neurodiverse needs and a strong understanding of the SEND code of practice.

Location:

This role is based in Leicester and requires a full-time commitment on a permanent basis.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is up to £26,000, dependent on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the delivery team to provide targeted support to learners with neurodiverse needs
  2. Develop and implement effective learning materials and reading interventions to meet individual learner needs
  3. Deliver engaging and supportive learning sessions, either one-to-one or in small groups
  4. Maintain accurate records of learner progress and development
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Learning Support qualification (or willingness to pursue)
  • Proven experience working with neurodiverse learners in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND code of practice
  • Level 2 English qualification
