About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Energy and Renewables Team as an Energy Efficiency Surveyor. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in achieving their renewable energy goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Clients: Assist our clients in developing and implementing renewable energy projects, including solar PV, battery energy storage schemes, onshore wind, green hydrogen, and offshore wind connections.
  • GIS and Mapping: Utilize GIS software to conduct constraint mapping and related tasks, ensuring the efficient development of renewable energy projects.
  • Land Acquisition and Engagement: Conduct land referencing and site finding, engage with landowners, and negotiate land rights for commercial development projects.
  • Reporting and Project Management: Draft strategic and client reports, assist with project management, and contribute to business development.
  • Research and Site Visits: Conduct research for various Energy and Renewables projects, conduct site visits, and assessments to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
About You
  • Education: Hold a relevant degree, 2:1 or above, ideally in a field related to Energy and Renewables, such as Geography or Land Economy.
  • Skills and Experience: Possess some prior experience with GIS software, have a passion for Energy, Renewables, and Sustainability, and demonstrate competent and professional communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Be self-motivated, creative, innovative, and have a strategic mindset, with a full UK driver's license and access to a vehicle (or highlight alternative arrangements).
