About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Energy Efficiency Surveyor to join our Energy and Renewables Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients to achieve their renewable energy goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in achieving their renewable energy objectives, including solar PV, battery energy storage schemes, onshore wind, green hydrogen, and offshore wind connections.
  • Conduct GIS analysis, constraint mapping, and related tasks to identify opportunities for renewable energy development.
  • Perform land referencing and site finding to identify suitable locations for renewable energy projects.
  • Engage with landowners to negotiate land rights for commercial development projects.
  • Draft strategic and client reports to communicate project progress and recommendations.
  • Assist with project management and business development to drive growth and success.
  • Conduct research for a range of energy and renewables projects to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and insights for project development.
About You
  • You will have a relevant degree, 2:1 or above, ideally in a field related to energy and renewables, such as geography or land economy.
  • You will need a full UK driver's license and vehicle to travel to site visits.
  • Some prior experience with GIS software is desirable, but not essential.
  • You will have a passion for energy, renewables, and sustainability, and be committed to making a positive impact.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • You will be self-motivated, creative, and innovative, with a strategic mindset and ability to think critically.
