Position:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester/SDET to join our team at Superstars.

Rate:

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive daily rate of £400 (Outside IR35).

Location Preference:

UK-based candidates are preferred, but we are open to remote work arrangements.

Years of Experience:

Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong background in automation testing.

Requirement Fulfilment Date:

We are looking for immediate joiners who can hit the ground running.

Contract Period:

The contract is expected to last between 3-6 months.

Work Model:

This is a hybrid role, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a small team to provide QA for agile sprints.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the development team to provide high-quality QA for agile sprints.
  2. Execute all levels of testing, including system, integration, and regression testing.
  3. Analyse business requirements to define test strategies and create test plans.
  4. Identify and report defects in Jira, working closely with the development team to ensure efficient resolution.
  5. Develop and maintain automated test cases using Cypress and other tools.
  6. Provide documentation and support to the team as needed.
Key Skills and Experience:
  1. Proven experience in automation testing, preferably with a background in software development.
  2. Strong knowledge of automated endpoint testing and performance testing.
  3. Experience with creating and maintaining automation frameworks, including Cypress.
  4. Good understanding of BDD and TDD tools, such as Cucumber.
  5. Ability to read and interpret code, including JavaScript and Java.
  6. Experience with microservices testing and UX/UI testing.
  7. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum principles.
  8. Experience with ticketing and workflow systems, such as JIRA and Confluence.
  9. Basic SQL skills for querying and verifying data.
