Job Title: Senior Support Worker

Location: UK

Salary: £13.50 per hour (+ £55 for sleep-ins)

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Living Service in Chorley. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and/or autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of support workers to provide person-centered care and support to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and/or autism.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of service users.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide training and supervision to support workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Senior Support Worker who has a strong understanding of mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism. You will have a proven track record of leading a team and providing high-quality care and support. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
