Strategic Planner Lead

Job Overview
The senior planner plays a critical role in the development and maintenance of detailed construction schedules. This includes ensuring integration with third-party interfaces and design/procurement programmes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain level three programmes to support main contract purposes.
- Interrogate level four contractor programmes returned with tenders, making comments as appropriate to support procurement processes.
- Create an integrated design, procurement, and construction schedule.
- Review, develop, and optimize construction methodology and site logistics.
- Lead on schedule reviews of contractor claims or disputes.
- Verify that contractors' detailed work schedules comply with strategic programmes and work breakdown structures.
- Produce programmes necessary to coordinate works between packages, including design and procurement.
- Establish programme-level commissioning and testing schedules, considering project interfaces and planned completion schedules.
- Monitor site progress against key milestones and report accordingly.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
