About the Role

Horder Healthcare is seeking a motivated and personable Catering Assistant and Ward Host to join our team. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for supporting the wider catering team in preparing and facilitating all food and beverage orders for patients, staff, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the CCM/Chefs/Ward Hosts in providing an effective and efficient service to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic environment in keeping with all legislative and hospital requirements.
  • Ensure daily equipment/maintenance checks are carried out and any faulty equipment or fixtures are reported in a timely manner.
  • Aid in patient service wherever possible and provide general support for both the Catering production and service teams.

Salary

£ per hour

In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment. We have assessed this role and do not consider that we would be able to sponsor a successful candidate under the Skilled Worker route as the role does not meet the relevant Home Office criteria; the successful candidate therefore must be able to demonstrate their own right to work during the recruitment process without Horder Healthcare sponsorship.
