Lead Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Menlo Park Recruitment is working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking GP surgery in Southampton, seeking a Lead Nurse Practitioner to lead the nursing team on a part-time basis for 24 hours per week. This role offers a unique blend of clinical workload and management responsibilities, representing the nursing team in meetings, appraisals, and rota management.

The Surgery
  • Reputable GP practice with a strong commitment to traditional values and community involvement.
  • Supportive environment that fosters progression and development opportunities for staff.
  • Utilizes the Emis Web computer system.
  • Places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing.
Your Role
  • Requires experience as a Practice Nurse, as well as experience managing a small team.
  • Part-time position for 24 hours per week.
  • Benefit from a close-knit team environment.
  • Expected to perform routine practice nurse duties and have experience with Long-Term Conditions (LTCs).
  • Lead the nursing team and represent the team in meetings, working closely with managers and partners to ensure delivery of high-quality care.
  • No home visits.
  • Extended hours once per month.
