We are seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Specialist to join our Home Counties Waste Network team at Thames Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in investigating complex operational problems and delivering efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate complex planned and reactive technical activities to ensure maximum effectiveness and minimal customer impact.
  • Be the main point of contact for any emergency works required in your area and ensure that contractors are working safely and in compliance with business procedures.
  • Carry out contractor auditing to ensure that all works undertaken meet the Thames Water Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards.
  • Work in collaboration with our delivery partners to deliver asset maintenance activity.
  • Identify business risks and record / monitor / resolve them in line with the company risk management procedure.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Good technical civil experience, ideally in Waste infrastructure
  • Skilled in finding cost-conscious solutions to complex network issues
  • Previous experience working and managing the activity of third-party contractors
  • Competent at using appropriate company IT systems and office software

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on previous experience
  • Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays)
