We are seeking a skilled Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our North East London team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving pumping station infrastructure, ensuring our assets operate 24/7.

As part of a close and supportive water productions Operations team, you will focus on designing complex jobs for works at our pumping stations and ensuring any prerequisites are in place to allow work to be completed by the Field Technicians.

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and data captured from the field to design operationally critical jobs, highlighting key operational risks across the area and presenting these to obtain funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing complex jobs for works at our pumping stations
  • Ensuring prerequisites are in place for work completion
  • Highlighting operational risks and obtaining funding
  • Maintaining and optimizing pumping station performance
  • Producing weekly reports on Plant availability

What You'll Need:

  • Technical expertise and data capture skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience in technical job design and/or prerequisite management within a utility company
  • Strong IT literacy skills and ability to learn SAP system
  • Previous experience coordinating and negotiating with contractors and suppliers

Benefits:

  • Salary: up to £45,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
  • Car Allowance: up to £4,300 per year
