Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing company based in Brownhills, near Walsall. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

The Role
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and extend the lifespan of our electrical systems.
  • Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.

Requirements
  • Qualified in electrical engineering with a strong background in industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience in fault finding, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Standards and ability to work to these standards.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
