We are seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join our team at a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in the manufacturing sector.

  1. To service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
  3. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing.
  2. Or equivalent in electrical fields, preferably with an FMCG manufacturing background.

A competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience is required. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, PLC/automation experience, and the ability to produce safe systems of work. They should be capable of contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, processes, or services. This is an all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role as well as conveyors and processing end-of-line packing. Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organisation of the engineering plant is also essential.
