Senior Programme Tutor

Job Summary:
NHS Scotland is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Programme Tutor to join our team. As a Senior Programme Tutor, you will be responsible for the line management of the tutor and administrative team, as well as having a very active role in teaching, supervision, tutoring, and evaluation of clinical and academic competence in CBT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Programme Director in the organisation of the whole programme through liaison with multiple stakeholders from NHS Education Scotland, NHS GG&C, NHS Lothian, programme trainees, programme supervisors, BABCP, and Queen Margaret University.
- Have a very active role in teaching, supervision, tutoring, and evaluation of clinical and academic competence in CBT.
- Support the Programme Director in the development and implementation of the programme's strategic plan.
- Collaborate with the Programme Director to ensure the programme's objectives are met and that the programme is delivered to a high standard.
- Provide guidance and support to programme trainees and programme supervisors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality CBT training.
Requirements:
- Expertise in CBT (BABCP accredited practitioners) and experience in the delivery of Post Graduate training in CBT, evaluation, and supervision.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the NHS Scotland's policies and procedures, particularly in relation to education and training.
