Cash Flow Specialist

As a Cash Flow Specialist at DorSuite, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance team in East Kilbride. With a focus on credit and cash management, you'll be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable function, including customer onboarding, credit checks, and collections.
Key Responsibilities- Customer onboarding, including agreeing credit limits and terms
- Setting up and maintaining customer records on our systems
- Supporting sales and estimating teams as needed
- Administering credit check and credit insurance portals
- Raising invoices to strict deadlines
- Liaising with production and project managers for accurate billing
- Assisting the Financial Controller with revenue recognition decisions
- Raising credit notes and providing analysis to stakeholders
- Uploading invoices to customer portals
- Strong credit control, working within our policy and proactively with clients
- Regular contact with customers via phone and email, including sending monthly statements
- Preparing information for debt collection agencies when necessary
- Reporting on credit management and cash collection performance
- Negotiating payment plans where needed
- Maintaining CIS records for deductions by customers
- Assisting with weekly cash flow forecasting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing systems, and collections processes
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. SAGE, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
